Our cobalt bands are 62% cobalt and 28-30% chromium. Cobalt chrome is a lighter-weight metal with a bright white, platinum-like luster which can be polished. While not as hard as tungsten, it is still very hard and scratch-resistant. Cobalt bands will not break, shatter or chip, but can bend under extreme force. Commonly used in the medical field.
